If possible, arrangements will be made for this local broker to meet you as you arrive in the new location.
The broker, who understands the special needs of the relocating family, will help familiarize you with your new city before you actually begin looking at homes. You and your broker will review educational
facilities, community patterns, mortgage availability, and the types and costs of housing available. You will receive a tour of neighborhoods, shopping facilities, school and community amenities.
Once you have chosen a home, your coordinator from The Relocation Group is available to assist you in negotiating the Contract of Sale and your local broker can coordinate the new home closing.
These services are designed to ease your family’s transition into your new community by maximizing your productivity during the limited time you have to find a home in your new location. PRE-ARRIVAL COUNSELING
Your relocation to the Metro-Detroit area is set in motion even before you arrive. Relocation counseling begins with the initial telephone conversation between you and your representative from The Relocation Group, during which you are given an overview of Metro-Detroit and your basic housing and community needs are assessed. Our coordinator will forward to you a free relocation package of information that will aid you in your search for the perfect community for you and your family.
